Taking Care of Business--Online

Many units and departments across campus are using the Internet to provide additional services and convenience. The following are just a few of the applications available.

ACTion Card

Your ACTion card is your University ID. It can also double as a debit card for use in campus vending machines and some local retailers. You can open a Bama Cash account, check your balance, and add money online at actcard.ua.edu.

Grade Submissions

Class grading is now done online. Go to the Faculty Services section of the Tide Guide Web site (tideguide.ua.edu).

Student Services

All students can use the Tide Guide Web site (tideguide.ua.edu) to check grades, class schedules, and account balances.

Student E-mail Account Information

Students can find out their e-mail address and reset their password from any Internet-connected computer by going to the BamaMail page (bamamail.ua.edu) and clicking the "Get account information online" link.

Requesting Telephone and Network Service

Departmental account representatives can submit and track requests for telephone service and network wiring on the Telecommunication Web site (telecom.ua.edu).
