WebCT

WebCT is an online teaching and learning environment for use by faculty members wanting to supplement--or even replace--traditional classes with more than just static course Web sites. WebCT courses can include chat rooms, discussion boards, student presentations, and audiovisual materials as well as individual assessment. Access to a course can be limited to students enrolled in the class without requiring the instructor or professor to manage user names and passwords, making it easier to satisfy "fair use" copyright restrictions.
