SFTP Clients for MacintoshSFTP is the file transfer component of Secure Shell. FTP, like telnet, passes your username and password in plain text. SFTP encrypts this traffic. You should use SFTP instead of FTP whenever possible. Macintosh OS XLike SSH, SFTP support is built into the Terminal application.
